Police say the investigation of a certain case started in March of 2025, leading them to an electronic device
A Niagara Falls man has been accused of having child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
Police began an investigation back in March of last year of the sexual exploitation of children, which led them finding material in an electronic storage device.
Earlier today, they arrested 46-year old Joseph Petonoquot, charing him with:
- Possession of Child Pornography
- Possession of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material x2
- Accessing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material
- Fail to Comply with Prohibition Order
He remains in custody, but has a bail hearing today in St. Catharines.
