Police say they watched drug transactions take place
A Niagara Falls man has a bail hearing today after being charged with drug trafficking.
Back in January, police began looking into trafficking in Niagara Falls, and watched a suspect who was dealing drugs.
Police say yesterday they watched him make a deal in the Summer Street area, and moved in and arrested him, finding:
- 2.2 grams fentanyl (street value $440)
- 19 hydromorphone tablets (street value $380)
- $600 Canadian Currency
After searching a Drummond Road house, they found:
- 7.3 grams fentanyl (street value $1460)
- 36 hydromorphone tablets (street value $720)
- Glock Magazine
- Seven 9mm rounds of ammunition
They say 28-year old Donte Lloyd is charged with:
- Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime under $5000
- Possession of a Prohibited Device
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Hydromorphone)
- Driving While Under Suspension
