Niagara Falls is lighting up tonight in honour of International Women's Day.
Mayor Jim Diodati tweeting out the Canadian Horseshoe and American Falls will be illuminated in purple between 9:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.
International Women's Day is held every year on March 8th to recognize the achievements of women and girls, as well as raise awareness of the work that remains to be done towards achieving gender equality.
