One support person per patient
Niagara Health confirms patients within the Emergency Departments and Urgent Care Centres can now bring a support person with them.
Previously, this was only allowed under exceptional circumstances.
Support persons must pass a COVID-19 screening test, wear a mask at all times, and practice social distancing and hand hygiene onsite, even if they are fully vaccinated.
