Niagara Health says it's prepared to support the province's goal of a fully-vaccinated summer.
Linda Boich, Executive Vice President at Niagara Health, says the organization has the ability to do its part to meet this target.
"The vaccination clinic team is prepared to respond quickly to support the provincial government’s goal of a two-dose summer, overseeing our vaccination program. We’ve worked hard over the last three months to administer more than 133,000 first and second doses at our Seymour-Hannah arena vaccination clinic. We are eager to move to the accelerated second-dose interval beginning with people aged 80+ and moving through the sequencing based on provincial guidelines."
Effective 8:00 a.m. this Monday, people 80 and older can book an appointment to get their second shot at clinics and pharmacies throughout Niagara.
