Artwork by nine year old girl selected for 2021 holiday card.
A nine year old girl is being recognized by Niagara Health for her artistic abilities.
Kaelynn Folkes was the winner in the 2021 Holiday Card Contest for Kids.
Participants were asked to share what the holidays mean to them.
Kaelynn is the daughter of Cheri Folkes, an endoscopy nurse at the St. Catharines site.
"I’m proud of Kaelynn’s picture capturing the inclusion of everyone regardless of culture or abilities," says Cheri. "Looking at this picture brings hope that we can all genuinely show compassion and respect for one other. Let’s not lose this simple gesture we can all afford to give."
As the grand prize winner, Kaelynn's drawing will be featured on Niagara Health's 2021 holiday card.
