Event will take place Saturday at Old Fort Erie
Niagara Parks will hold a tree planting event this weekend.
The all ages event will take place on Saturday at Old Fort Erie from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
Attendees will get to participate in a project to replace several ash trees that have been removed from the area.
Trees, tools and guidance to plant trees will be provided.
Niagara Parks has set a goal of planting 5,000 trees by 2028.
