Province investing over $267 million over three years to police services in Ontario, with $8.2 million going to Niagara Police Services Board.
The Niagara Police Services Board is getting some money from the province.
Over $8.2 million is being invested in the board to help with various initiatives.
The money will help fund a new youth engagement program, provide additional resources to first responders dealing with opioid overdoses and expand outreach provided by Mobile Crisis Rapid Response Teams.
This is part of a $267 million investment to enhance Ontario police services over three years.
