Niagara Public Health is investigating 6 possible variant cases of COVID-19.
There are no confirmed cases of the variant yet, but lab testing continues on the samples.
All of the cases are linked to the GTA, so it doesn't appear that there is community spread of the variant in the Niagara region.
Only nine new cases of COVID-19 were reported today, as well as one new death.
