The Reusable Goods Drop-off Contest will take place October 18-23.
The Niagara Region is marking the 20th anniversary of Waste Reduction Week in Canada.
The Region has teamed up with the Grimsby Benevolent Fund and Goodwill Niagara for the Reusable Goods Contest.
Between October 18-23, local residents who bring a reusable item to one of the area's waste and recycling drop-off depots will receive a ballot or scan a QR code to be enter into a draw to win a $50 Visa gift card.

Residents can also reduce waste buy purchasing second-hand items, donating used goods, buying in bulk and using products with less plastic packaging.
