Niagara Police are looking for a man they consider armed and dangerous following a stabbing at a Jordan campground.
A St. Catharines man is wanted following a stabbing in Jordan over the weekend.
NRP were called to Big Valley Campground on King Street at around five o'clock in the morning yesterday (Sunday).
The victim in the alleged assault and stabbing was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries while the male suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
The suspect is identified as 41 year old Omar Baxter of St. Catharines.
He is described as black, five feet seven inches, 119 pounds with dark hair.
Baxter was last seen in the Hamilton and is facing a long list of charges including assault, uttering threats, attempted murder, mischief to name a few.
He is considered armed and dangerous.
Niagara Regional Police are calling this a targeted attack and are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
