The dogs were placed in the shelter's care after their owner died.
The Niagara SPCA is asking for the public's help.
The shelter is collecting donations to help rehabilitate two dogs that came to the SPCA after their owner died.
One of the dogs was missing a paw, and the bone connecting another paw to the leg was gone.
The shelter also says both animals had severe matting on their fur and need dental work.
The dogs are both recovering and remain in the care of the SPCA.
