Niagara College hairstyling students took home top medals at Skills Competition
Gold, silver and bronze medals have been won by Niagara College hairstyling students, at this year's Skills Ontario competition in Toronto.
The school says Isabella Bloom of Fonthill, Emily Smolko of Mississauga, and Harmony Beaudry of Grimsby won with three looks... a long hair updo, cornrows on textured hair, and a colour and cut.
Also, eight students in the media, trades and technology earned medals as well, including Bianca Dizio of St. Catharines, winning silver in 3D Digital Game art.
Each winner has impressive aspirations, such as Isabella Bloom, who wants to work runway shows and competitions, and has worked with Canada's Got Talent.
