It was how to contribute to Canada's defense
A large gathering yesterday in the Niagara region to figure out ways to contribute to Canada's growing defense strategy.
The region's Economic Development partnered with local governments, and the Niagara Industrial Association, for the Niagara-focused Defense Sector Workshop.
The region says with the federal government increasing Canada's defense and industrial readiness, the workshop focused on how Niagara can contribute, and build more resilient supply chains.
Ron Tripp, the region's CAO, says the gathering created a valuable opportunity for Niagara companies to hear from business sector leaders, and government on what it takes to contribute.
