It's Niagara's first COVID-19 related death in months.
Public Health is reporting 11 new cases and one new death today.
This brings our total number of active cases to 125 and our death toll to 65.
Niagara Falls still has the most active cases and Niagara-on-the-Lake is still the only municipality without any cases.
We also have eight active outbreaks in effect including one at Lundy Manor in Niagara Falls.
The long term care home had one of the most deadly COVID-19 outbreaks in the Region earlier this year with close to 20 deaths.
We have 615 new cases province-wide and close to 300 of them are in Toronto.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says another 541 people have also recovered from the virus.
