Statistics Canada releases latest unemployment figures.
For the sixth month in a row, Ontario's employment rate has grown.
Statistics Canada has released the most recent Labour Force Survey, showing 68,000 jobs were added in the province last month.
A majority were full-time, and fields such as health care, construction, real estate and insurance experienced increases. .
The unemployment rate is now at 6.4 percent, which is the lowest it's been since February 2020.
Across Canada, the unemployment rate fell to 6.0 percent, compared to 6.7 percent in October.
The Canadian economy added 154,000 jobs last month.
In Niagara, 2,100 jobs were lost last month, and the unemployment rate rose to 7.5 percent from 7.3 percent in October.
