Woman experienced fractured elbow during arrest in St. Catharines.
The SIU isn't laying any charges against an NRP officer after a woman was injured during the course of her arrest.
In February, police were called to a detoxification centre in St. Catharines in response to a trespassing call.
Officials say a woman was arrested and escorted outside where she was released.
However, she re-entered the property, and suffered a fractured elbow after being tripped by an officer.
SIU Director Joseph Martino says there is no basis for criminal charges in this case.
