NRP says the investigation is closed.
The St. Catharines Standard reporting this morning police will not lay any charges into online threats made against Niagara's top doctor.
Police tell the paper, they consulted with Dr. Mustafa Hirji and at this time no criminal charges will be laid.
The threats came after we found out Niagara would not be moving into the red zone of the province's COVID-19 framework and instead we were placed in the restrictive grey category.
Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati telling us yesterday, he expects we will move into the red category next week.
