Niagara Public Health was not consulted, before we were left out of the second stage of reopening.
That’s coming from Niagara Falls MPP Wayne Gates, who says Doug Ford is making decisions without knowing what the situation on the ground is in Niagara.
Ford says the decisions were made based on advice from local health, but Niagara’s Acting Medical Officer of Health Doctor Mustafa Hirji says that’s not the case.
St. Catharines MPP Jennie Stevens and Niagara Centre MPP Jeff Burch are also voicing their displeasure saying Ford should listen to the people and understand what Niagara needs.
