No criminal charges laid over the weekend by the NRP in RIDE check points, but some other tickets were handed out.
Police stopped roughly 500 vehicles in Niagara Falls Friday night, asking eight drivers to give breath samples, and no one was over the legal limit.
However, police say they did lay a number of other charges, including for driving without insurance, giving false evidence of insurance, unauthorized licence plates, not having a child properly secured, and having cannabis readily available.
Three people were arrested for impaired driving, two by alcohol, one by drugs, but not at RIDE points.
