In a post on their website, the Niagara Parks Commission says that this year's festivities will not include an outdoor concert or fireworks, due to COVID-19.
They say that special safety measures have been put in place at Niagara Parks, and the decision was made in the name of public safety.
Past year's celebrations have included performances by Canadian musicians and two fireworks displays.
Their website recommends alternative ways to ring in the New year.
