You have the chance to nominate a Niagara citizen who has made a difference in the community for an award!
Nominations are being accepted for the Ontario Senior of the Year Award.
You have until May 27th to submit your nominations through your municipality.
Nominations can be placed for anyone 65 and older who has made your community a better place to live in several areas, including the arts, education, fitness, community service, volunteering and more.
A copy of the nomination form can be found on the Government of Ontario's website.
Meanwhile, nominations for the Ontario Senior Achievement Award are being accepted until June 15th, and can also be submitted on the province's website.
