Three locations offering free bike helmets to first 50 kids
The NRP and Wendy's are again partnering to encourage youth to have a safe summer in Niagara.
They'll kick off their 4th Annual Summer Safety Campaign today.
Officers will be armed with free frosty coupons and when they see youth wearing a safey helmet on a bike or life jacket on the water, they'll be handing out the freebies.
The campaign kicks off this morning at 11:00 a.m.
The public is invited to attend one of three Wendy’s locations (345 Lake Street St. Catharines, 8279 Lundy’s Lane Niagara Falls, 530 Niagara Street Welland) and meet with NRPS officers in attendance during our Summer Safety Giveaway.
There will be free Frostys for all children who attend and the first 50 children (ages 1 to 13) at each location will receive a free bike helmet compliments of Wendy's while supplies last.
Children must be in attendance to receive a helmet.
Frosty coupons awarded by officers throughout the summer are redeemable at any Wendy’s store in Niagara.
