UPDATE: Police have arrested the wanted man from Port Colborne.
The NRP arrested the 38-year-old in the Bell Street and Welland Street area at around 6:00 p.m. last night.
Officers also searched the home in the Bell Street and Davis Street area, and seized a pellet gun and $26,000 worth of fentanyl.
A 50-year-old woman has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Officers are on the hunt for a man following an assault in Port Colborne.
Around 2:30 on Wednesday, December 9th, police were called to a residence near Bell Street and Davis Street in Port Colborne.
A female had reportedly been assaulted with a stun gun and a firearm.
She was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation determined that six suspects were involved.
Five of the suspects were arrested at the house and face numerous assault charges.
A 38-year-old man remains at large.
He is described as a white, 6'2 male who weighs about 250 pounds.
He has blue eyes and brown hair.
He also has several tattoos, including a skull with red eyes on his left thigh, skulls and flames on his left calf, a skull on his right thigh, and a face on his right calf.
Police say he is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact the NRP.
