Six people are facing impaired driving related charges following NRP R.I.D.E. spot checks.
Between April 12th and the 18th, officers laid impaired driving charges against three people from St. Catharines, two people from Niagara Falls and one person from Welland.
The individuals also received a 90 day license suspension.
The NRP is reminding the public that impaired driving is the leading cause of criminal deaths in Canada, and thousands of lives are impacted by it every year.
