Police say unknown truck driver offered youth a ride.

Police have identified the driver and found that he had no ill intentions. The case is now closed.

The NRP is asking for your help following a suspicious incident in Fort Erie.
Police say around 4:42 p.m. on October 6th, a youth was approached by a truck driver near the intersection of Lavinia Street and North Street.
The driver asked the youth if he wanted a ride, and the youth ran home to notify his parents.
The truck is described as follows:
- Possibly a Chevrolet Silverado
- Maroon in colour
- 1998 to 2000
- 4 doors
- Distinct logo/marking on the driver’s side
The driver is described as:
- Male
- White
- Raspy voice
While no criminal offence took place, investigators do want to determine the driver's intentions.
