They say it crashed into a tree this morning in St. Catharines, a passenger was seriously hurt
Police are sorting out a collision early this morning in St. Catharines.
They arrived to the scene of a single vehicle crash at Queenston and Hartzel Road around 2am, to find a Dodge Journey had left the road and hit a tree, it was demolished.
Police say a 44-year old man from St. Catharines, a passenger, was hospitalized for serious injuries, however, the K9 unit couldn't find anyone else involved.
They believe the vehicle had been stolen from a local auto business shortly before the crash, and was occupied only by the driver.
The cause of the crash and ID of the driver remains under investigation.
