Handgun seized along with fentanyl, crystal meth and cash.
One person is facing drug and weapon charges following a traffic stop in St. Catharines.
Around 3:46 a.m. on July 2nd, police on patrol near Riordan Street and Gale Crescent in St. Catharines spotted a beige 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe driving erratically on Riordan Street.
A traffic stop was conducted, and officers determined the driver was prohibited from driving a car in Canada.
Police say a search of the man and the car turned up a loaded Glock 23 handgun, as well as 109.3 grams of fentanyl, 6.3 grams of crystal meth, 11.5 grams of cocaine, $970 in Canadian cash and $50 USD.
Facing charges is 26 year old Jhon Freddy Flores of no fixed address.
