Mayor Mat Siscoe sent a letter to police, after discussing with city council recently concerns of crime in the downtown.
Chief Bill Fordy told the police services board yesterday he anticipates inviting the board to a city council meeting. "To provide them with a response to what is a live issue for them, and that is the economic development, and wellness of the downtown core in St. Catharines."
He added police administration will put together a report, and data, for that meeting.
