In a bid to get the Canada U.S. border opened by July 4th, a U.S. Congressman wants to clear the way for Canadians to get vaccinated in New York State
Brian Higgins has penned a letter to Governor Andrew Cuomo asking him to make excess vaccines available to Canadian residents
Higgins has been an outspoken advocate of allowing non essential travel to resume on Niagara's border bridges.
But the U.S. Border Agency yesterday stating that Canadians could get turned away at the border because vaccines are not considered an essential reason for entry.
Earlier this week, the Public Health Agency of Canada said Canadians would be allowed to cross into the states to get a shot.
