Fine stems from bad goal in playoff game
The Kitchener Rangers are facing a $2500 fine by the Ontario Hockey League
In a release, the OHL announced a review into a video replay involving a disputed game between the Rangers and London Knights on May 1st found an error was made and the play in question should have been ruled a goal for the Rangers.
However, it wasn’t all good news for the Rangers, they are being fined by the OHL “for public comments directed towards the League following Game 5 which is in violation of League policy.”
It was just last month, the league suspended the IceDogs GM and its coach for comments they made in a group chat that also violated league policy
