City of Niagara Falls will use the money for community services and economic growth
Another payment made to the City of Niagara Falls for hosting Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation made the over $4.7-million payment for the 2nd quarter, that's July 1st to September 30th.
So far, for the OLG's fiscal year from April to next March, Niagara Falls has received almost $11-million.
The payments made to communities hosting a casino are based on a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the host site.
Minister of Tourism Stan Cho says Niagara Falls can offer local programs and generate economic activity through the payments.
