Police found a number of younger drivers had to be charged for offences, including one who had been drinking
A variety of liquor related offences, against a number of younger drivers, handed out during two Saturday RIDE checks in St. Catharines.
Police set up near Sunset Beach and Lakeside Park, stopping roughly 450 vehicles.
15 had to give road side breath samples, and three of those registered in Alert range, meaning licence suspended for 7-days.
Police add a 20-year old man from Niagara Falls was charged for impaired driving, and another charged for having a suspended licence.
Police also found someone with liquor readily available, a novice driver above zero alcohol and no insurance, and two drivers who didn't surrender a licence.
