One motorist was charged following a pair of R.I.D.E checks in the region.
NRP officers conducted the checks on Good Friday in Welland and Thorold.
About 600 cars were stopped, and 21 drivers blew into a breathalyzer.
One motorist had their license suspended for three days after providing a sample that resulted in an "Alert."
In addition, one driver was charged for operating their car with a suspended license.
Eleven tickets were issued for other traffic offences.
