The province is expected to announce today the locations of more than 300 pharmacies that will begin administering the shot.
The province was expecting a shipment of 194,000 doses of the vaccine yesterday.
Health Canada is recommending anyone 65 years of age or older not be given the vaccine, so the plan will be to administer the first shipment to Ontarians between the ages of 60 and 64
Health Minister Christine Elliot says people in that age group would then be able to book appointments to receive their shots at those pharmacies starting on Friday.
