Will start with three day work week
It will be the boost downtown St Cathariens businesses need as the province orders its civil servants back to the office.
Workers at the Ministry of Transport in the Garden City will be among thousands of Ontario Public Service workers who have been told that beginning April 4th they will have to return to the office at least three days a week.
Close to 30,000 provincial ministry employees began a gradual return to work last November but that was reversed because of the Omicron variant.
Ministry workers were allowed to return to the office on their own yesterday, when the province dropped its vaccine passport requirement.
