City of St. Catharines says this is largely for the former GM site
Your thoughts, opinions, wanted by the City of St. Catharines on what to do with a portion of Ontario Street, particularly the former GM plant.
The city is having an open house on the Ontario Street Corridor Secondary Plan Study, a week tomorrow at the Holiday Inn.
The goal is to develop a long-term vision, and ultimately land-use plan, for future development of the plant, on the east and west side of Ontario Street, and south of Carlton.
The study will also extend from the QEW, south to Welland Avenue.
The city adds the goal is for a plan to reach city council by November.
