First time team will play big game on home turf in 49 years
It will be the Ticats vs the Blue Bombers in next weekend’s Grey Cup Game.
The Cats rallied yesterday to beat the Toronto Argos 27 to 19 in the eastern final.
That means the Ticats move onto the championship game at home at Tim Hortons Field.
The last time the two teams met in a Grey Cup was back in 2019 when Winnipeg beat Hamilton for the championship.
