Police found suspected cocaine after investigation into selling at Welland house
Two people from Welland have been arrested after Niagara regional police found illegal drugs in a Welland home.
Last month, police started looking into the sale of cocaine from a house in the Myrtle Avenue and Cohoe Street area.
Just before noon, on Friday, police used a search warrant and found some hydromorphone, codiene, money, and roughly $6,000 of suspected cocaine.
36-year old Steven R. Phillips and 40-year old Jessica Trottier are both facing drug trafficking charges.
He had a bail hearing Sunday, while she was released with a future court date.
