Paul Bernardo up for parole
A parole hearing will get underway today for serial rapist and killer Paul Bernardo.
Bernardo is serving a life sentence after being convicted in 1995 for the murders of three teenaged girls, Leslie Mahaffy, Kristen French and his then sister in law, Tammy Homolka.
The last time the killer was up for parole was in October of 2018, and it took the Parole Board of Canada just 20 minutes to reject his release.
Today's hearing will be held securely online and will be open only to approved observers and members of the media.
