Seaway Mall location opening next week
Pathstone Mental Health will soon open its new location in Welland.
Starting Monday, a mental health clinic will be open at Seaway Mall.
"We wanted to continue our forward momentum, in step with our mission to bring mental health support to every corner of our community," says Fundraising and Communications Director Kim Rossi. "The Seaway Mall is as much a community hub as it is a shopping destination and we are excited to partner on this expansion effort. We are exciting to do a number of projects with them, not just the walk-in clinic."
The location will be open every Monday from 11:30 AM until 6:00 p.m.
Pathstone provides free mental health services to children and youth under the age of 18.
The organization says the average walk-in clinic client is 11.5 years old, and most common issues include coping skills and anxiety.
