New rule goes into effect today

If you are thinking of day tripping over the border you may want to reconsider.

As of today, all travellers coming back into Canada after being in the U.S., 72 hours or less will have to show the results of a PCR test on the return trip home.

Health MinisterJean-Yves Duclos calling it an added layer of protection in light of the rapid spread of Omicron

Last week, the federal government also issued an advisory asking Canadians to avoid non-essential international travel over the holidays
