Enough people living on Hurricane Road in the Pelham/Fonthill area have signed a petition for action on poor driving habits.
Town council is looking into ways to slow traffic down, as many drivers use that road to avoid Highway 20 bottlenecking.
Councillor John Wink explains the problem. "Many individuals don't ahhere to stop signs on the road, they're speeding, and very loud."
Cheif Administrative Officer David Cribb says they'll collect data this fall. "Once that data is collected, there's another assessment that's done. If that passes, and warrants traffic calming, then there's preliminary design, and engage the public."
He says Hurricane Road is to be rebuilt within 10-years.
