New York State Police have released the names of the victims of yesterday's shooting on the I-190S near the Peace Bridge.
22 year old Keyshawn N. Gault was killed, and 30 year old Myron L. Walker and 23 year old old Lamar T. Whitfield were injured.
Police say one of the survivors suffered serious injuries, and the other sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The victims worked for the Buffalo Sewer Authority, and were returning from a job at the time.
The shooting happened around 11:20 a.m., and investigators believe the shots came from a late-model dark coloured Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"We have several leads but, currently, we do not have a motive of the shooting," New York State Police Major Eugene Staniszewski said Thursday. "This is believed to be an isolated incident and we have no information that there is a threat ongoing to the community."
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call New York State Police at 585-344-6200.
