Hamilton police say it caused roughly $4.5-million in damage early this morning at Christie Lake Conservation area
Police estimate damage is in the $4.5-million range after what appears to be arson at Christie Conservation area in Hamilton.
Hamilton fire department was called just after 7 this morning, to find the Beach Pavillion on fire, it eventually collapsed, still burning.
They say the Lakeside Pavillion was partially collapsed, also burning, fire fighters soon knocked out both fires.
They then noticed obvious proof there had been attempt to set the Marine Pavillion on fire.
Police add there were no injuries, and they're working to determine the exact cause of the fires.
