About $300,000 worth of gold and silver reported stolen
Niagara police are asking for the public's help after about $300,000 worth of gold and silver bars were taken from a St. Catharines residence near Maywood Avenue and Hiscott Street.
Investigators say the complainant had kept gold and silver bars in their home.
It's believed that nine gold bars and five silver bars were taken on July 14th between 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
The bars are worth an estimated $300,000.
Serial numbers are stamped on the gold and silver.
The gold bars may have serial numbers between the ranges of 807850 - 807874 or 801450 - 801474.
