Police are on the hunt for a pair of suspects following an armed robbery in Niagara Falls.
Just after 10:00 p.m. on Monday, the NRP was dispatched to a home in the area of Drummond Road and North Street.
Two suspects knocked on the door claiming to be delivering a pizza.
Police say the suspects were carrying assault rifles, and forced their way inside when the victims answered the door.
Both the male and female victim were hit in the head with the butt end of a rifle, and were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The man was also hit in the arm with the butt end of the weapon.
The suspects are both described as black men around 5'10.
One of the suspects is said to be slender, had black hair, and was wearing a surgical mask, white latex gloves and grey Nike jogging pants.
The other suspect was wearing a surgical mask, latex gloves, and a grey sweatshirt.
Police believe this was a targeted incident, and anyone with information is asked to call the NRP at 905-688-4111, ext.1009388.
