If you collect vintage Canadian currency, you should check the status of your collection.
The NRP seized vintage cash while arresting a 34-year-old man during a Pelham assault investigation earlier this month.
Officers say the man is known to police and they’re now investigating the ownership of the currency.
Anyone with information should contact Constable Kelly Gerrie by calling 905-688-4111 with extension 9219.
They can also send an e-mail to kelly.gerrie@niagarapolice.ca.
