Suspects were found hiding in the woods
A police service dog is getting praise for finding two break and enter suspects.
Around 2:30 a.m. yesterday, police were called to a business near Centre Street and Harold Avenue in Welland.
The suspects were seen running from a secure building through a hole in a chain link fence.
The pair headed onto nearby train tracks and ran into a wooded area.
Investigators say Police Service Dog Rudy led officers into the wooded area, where the suspects were found.
Facing charges are 31 year old Jacob Edward Scott Golden and 32 year old Brian Joseph Adams, both from Welland.
The pair attended a bail hearing yesterday, and were remanded into custody.
