Port Cares is stepping up to assist Niagara residents who won't be able to see family this upcoming Family Day.
On Monday, the Port Cares Reach Out Centre will prepare a homestyle take-out turkey dinner in order to give a hot and healthy meal to vulnerable residents.
The agency is partnering with the Port Colborne Fire Department to deliver meals to low-income seniors who are isolated.
Seniors can register for the meals by calling 905-321-1934.
Additionally, the Port Cares EarlyON Virtual team will celebrate Family Day with special guest readers for the daily online "Night Time Tales" segment.
Community leaders will read a children's book of their choosing every night of the week for the "Family Week" celebration.
Kids can watch the sessions on the Port Cares Facebook and Instagram pages.
